The wagons continued on the trail and I decided to stay with them. After all, I am an adventurous soul!
When we reached San Luis Potosi, Mexico, I found out that Santa Anna's troops were headed for San Antonio, Texas 365 miles away.
They intend to capture the fort there and punish the people! |
January 7, 1836
The wagons of this Mexican convoy have reached Santillo. The word is that we will stop here. Santa Anna is very ill with some kind of stomach sickness and needs medical attention.
I will scout around for more information about our trip.
