It continues to be very noisy. The Mexicans have been busy. They have made a battery and begun to pound the north wall of the Alamo with cannons. Santa Anna is determined to continue the siege on the fort. He is determined to show no mercy to the defenders!

The pounding particularly frightened me because this morning I left the safety of the wagon, ran across the field, and went scouting inside the Alamo. I was in the Alamo when the pounding from the cannon fire began!
